Biography

As Vice President of Investigations, Lauren leads WIT’s Investigations Division, conducting complex proactive and reactive investigations with a focus on allegations of individual and corporate misconduct, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. She is a NYS Licensed Investigator.

Lauren has over three decades of legal experience comprised of public and private practice as well as legal investigations. The depth of her prosecution experience coupled with her experience as a defense attorney and legal investigator has made her the go-to to conduct independent investigations. She helps clients and attorneys meet their diverse investigative goals and legal challenges by conducting objective internal investigations and making appropriate recommendations. When necessary and appropriate, she works hand in hand with both crisis management and legal teams to ensure messaging is consistent with investigative results.

Prior to joining WIT Legal, Lauren was Vice President of Investigations & Intelligence at T&M USA, LLC and was a partner at Moses & Singer, LLP, active in the Manhattan firm’s White Collar Criminal Defense, Government Investigations, and Healthcare Litigation practice groups. She spent 25 years with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office where she became Chief of Investigations and, along with her team, recovered several million from defendants involved in fraudulent matters. In addition to investigating and trying numerous felony cases including homicides and sex crimes, Lauren was Chief of the Crimes Against Children Bureau, prosecuting those who committed physical and sexual assaults against young children.

Lauren earned her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and is a faculty member in their Intensive Trial Advocacy Program/NITA. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from George Washington University.
