Biography

Lawrence (Larry) Achram is a successful business leader in the automotive industry with a history of delivering innovative products from conceptualization to production and delivery to the consumer. His expertise includes engineering, procurement/sourcing, manufacturing, sales/marketing, finance, and HR/LR. In his professional career, he has taken full responsibility for related global operations and P&L. In addition to the product business, he has been a key leader for internal and external strategic activities including the turnaround of broken internal processes, negotiating strategic relationships, M&A, and merger integration.

Through various development and executive roles, Achram has worked with an array of automotive companies including Pontiac Motors, Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, Hybrid Kinetic Motors, Siemens Industry, Intellectual Ventures, and Rivian Automotive. In these positions, he helped to bring many major vehicles to market including the Chrysler 300 and its sibling, the Crossfire.

In these positions, he has been tasked with managing budgets in excess of $1 billion, was given project responsibility in excess of $2 billion, and full P&L in excess of $200 million. He also gained experience in product and corporate strategy, product engineering and development, global manufacturing, global procurement/sourcing, testing/ physical and simulation, BPO/offshoring/labor arbitrage, and intellectual property monetization strategies.

Currently, he is acting as the Managing Director of Achram Technologies where he works to provide business development, M&A, and engineering services to his clients. He prides himself on being an auto industry expert with knowledge on nearly any auto-industry-related topic.
